I am an RN who has been part of the DHS team. I've been deployed multiple times and I want to get prepared to become a DHS supervisor. My first experience with Red Cross was in 1974 as a Candy Striper at our local hospital. It focused my mind on a career of helping people in need. I am one of the few people who love the smell of a hospital; it represents healing and caring.
